UR-DATA Workshop SMART CITIES DATA ANALYTICS

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Niš, Serbia, recently hosted the UR-DATA project workshop on Smart Cities Data Analytics: Innovative Tools and Techniques. From April 16th to 18th, 2024, participants engaged in an enriching online workshop aimed at advancing their paper writing skills, with a specific emphasis on smart and sustainable urban development.

Building upon the success of previous workshops, this event focused on leveraging data analytics and technology to foster sustainable practices in urban environments. Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge projects and initiatives, gaining valuable insights into the latest trends and methodologies driving smart city development.

The third day of the workshop, held on April 18th, saw practical sessions and discussions geared towards joint publication preparation. Participants engaged in hands-on work and implemented new tools in preparation for collaborative papers. The agenda also included sessions dedicated to the preparation of a Springer book publication, led by Jelena Stanković, UR-DATA project coordinator.

The workshop concluded with fruitful discussions, marking the end of a successful event aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of smart cities data analytics. Participants left equipped with new insights and tools to contribute to the advancement of sustainable urban development.
