UR-DATA Team Participates in the 33rd EURO Conference

The UR-DATA team, represented by Sandra Milanovic, prof. Jelena J. Stankovic, and Ivana Marjanovic, recently presented their research at the 33rd EURO Conference, held from July 7-10, 2024, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Organised by the Association of European Operational Research Societies, the conference is a prestigious event that brings together researchers, practitioners, and academics from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and applications in operational research.

The team presented the research on Measuring Urban Smartness: A Comparative Study of European Cities Using Multi-Criteria Analysis, that identified European urban areas where inhabitants perceive the highest levels of smartness and sustainable urban development.

The results provide a diagnostic tool for local self-governments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing smart city initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

The UR-DATA team’s participation at the EURO Conference highlights their commitment to addressing urban sustainability challenges through advanced data analytics and innovative research methodologies.
