UR-WISE at Twinning Info Day under AIDA4Edge Initiative

Members of the UR-WISE project team participated in the Twinning Info Day, organised on 15 September 2025 organized by the Horizon Europe project AIDA4Edge – Twinning for Excellence in Adaptive Edge AI.

The event, hosted online by the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, brought together a diverse group of Twinning projects funded under the HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02-01 call, creating a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussion of project implementation practices.

Showcasing Twinning Projects and Knowledge Exchange

During the programme, representatives of multiple Horizon Europe Twinning projects presented their research focus, implementation approaches, and key results. Among them, UR-DATA was presented by Marija Džunić, highlighting experiences in data-driven policy analytics and institutional capacity building.

The event facilitated exchange across projects in diverse domains, from artificial intelligence and advanced materials to health, sustainability, and regional development, demonstrating the interdisciplinary scope and impact of the Twinning instrument.

Strengthening Project Management and Collaboration

The second part of the event was dedicated to a joint discussion on key aspects of Horizon Europe project implementation, including continuous reporting and grant management systems, open science practices, risk management as well as interim and financial reporting.

These discussions provided valuable insights into best practices and shared challenges, contributing to improved project management and strategic alignment across participating initiatives.

Continued Engagement Beyond Project Lifetime

Participation in the Twinning Info Day reflects the continued engagement of the UR-WISE team within the wider Horizon Europe community, even beyond individual project timelines. By maintaining active involvement in such initiatives, UR-WISE contributes to knowledge sharing, peer learning, and strengthening institutional capacity within the European Research Area.
