On October 26-27, 2023, a 2-day conference on sustainable urban development, The Urban Research Conference 2023, was organized at OsloMet.
The conference topics were centered around the issue of achieving sustainable urban development, given the inherent tensions in various dimensions of sustainability: social and cultural diversity, segregation, class divisions, manipulation and control of big data.
The conference presentations focused on the role of modern cities in the transition to an overall sustainable society, in light of inclusion, democracy and justice.
