The Faculty of Economics at the University of Niš recently held an exciting UR-DATA Info Day as part of the “Case Study – Face The Challenge” competition. This annual event, organised by the Faculty’s Student Parliament and the Students’ Association NOVA, took place on May 31 and June 1, 2024, and attracted a large student audience.
UR-DATA Info Day was strategically integrated into the first day of the competition, which focused on introducing the case study and practical problem-solving. During this session, the UR-DATA project team presented the project’s achievements and specific dissemination activities, engaging students with insightful information about the project’s progress and future initiatives.
The team highlighted key results and shared upcoming events that are part of the project’s ongoing efforts. Notably, they announced the upcoming Conference on Regional Development and Demographic Flows of Southeastern European Countries, scheduled to take place at the Faculty of Economics, University of Niš, on June 28, 2024. Additionally, the 16th International Summer School of Economics, themed “Smart and Sustainable Innovations,” will be held from July 1-5, 2024, in Niš, Serbia.
The presentation provided valuable insights into the UR-DATA project and its relevance to the students’ academic and professional growth. The large turnout and enthusiastic participation underscored the success of the UR-DATA Info Day in fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
