The UR-DATA project took part in the Green&Social Start-Ups Multiplier Event, hosted by the University of Niš at the Hotel Ramonda in Rtanj. The event brought together educators, entrepreneurs, students, local stakeholders, and project partners to share knowledge, showcase results, and strengthen the ecosystem for green and social innovation in Serbia.
The morning program focused on project achievements and the broader context of sustainable entrepreneurship. The opening session focused on presentations of the Green&Social Start-Ups project, the role of youth and education in green entrepreneurship, and inspiring local success stories. Contributions from organizations such as ENECA, Young Ambassadors Niš, and Evropska kuća Niš added valuable insights into sustainable business models and ESG practices.
In the afternoon, the spotlight turned to collaboration and cross-fertilization between projects. This session featured a diverse lineup of Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe initiatives, showcasing how aligned efforts can support greener, fairer, and more resilient communities.
Representing UR-DATA, Marina Stanojević (FEUN) presented the project’s goals and achievements, emphasizing its role in building local capacities for urban data analytics and supporting sustainable planning in under-resourced cities. Her presentation highlighted how the project’s tools and methodologies can contribute to inclusive development and smart governance—core values shared with the Green&Social Start-Ups initiative.
The event concluded with vibrant discussion, offering a space for continued dialogue and new connections. UR-DATA’s participation reinforced its commitment to working alongside other innovative projects in the region and promoting a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and local empowerment.
