The first semi-annual meeting of the UR-DATA Consortium took place at the premises of OSLOMET, on 6 and 7 December 2022. The meeting was organized in a hybrid form, with both live and online presence of UR-DATA team members.
During the 2-day meeting, activities related to the project coordination and planning were carried out. On the first day, the meeting attendees worked on the planning and preparation of the forthcoming events in January/February 2023: Experts visit and Workshop “Advances in Urban Data Analysis”.
The upcoming deliverables have been prepared and presented, along with the report on the dissemination activities implemented in the first 6 months of the project duration. The details of the call for the special issue of the journal “Economic Themes” have been agreed on, and a detailed plan of mutual short-term staff exchanges plan for 2023 (Oslo and Milano) was set.
DAY 1
The activities continued on the second day, including the preparation of the call for the FEUN’s conference in June 2023 “Regional Development and Demographic Flows of the South-East European” – RR2023 and the Summer School that will take place in July 2023.
The meeting also included the discussion on the development of FEUN’s scientific strategy. Finally, the plan is set for the joint publications of the Consortium members and conference participation during 2023. The dynamics of the joint project proposals has been determined and agreed upon.
